noise from front left wheel area, in town only

Hi. After scrapping a speed bump there appeared a popping, at times rolling, or hitting noise, suggesting something came loose, inside the front left wheel area. It isn't always present, as if at times the item finds it's place, especially on the freeway, where I guess the steady vibrations keep the item in place, though at times there can be a related noise there too on the freeway, but I'll slow down and resume speed to get rid of it.

Get it up on a lift or jackstands and inspect. Do a struts rebound test.
