lockout selonoid
just got my Honda back on the road yesterday and got a check engine light, it a 91civic sedan lx, so its got the old obd where u count the light blinks,, got a 19 code- lock out selonoid.
so today when on way to work I noticed the tach jumping between 25 and 30 thousand rpms at 58 mph,, would the lock out selonoid cause this or is it something else? any help will be highly appreciated.

Lockup, not lockout. Torque converter lockup clutch control solenoid, or TCC..
Ohm test the lockup solenoid? Is it bad?
(my book says it should be 14-25 ohm)

When you connect the tester leads together, it should read zero ohms....does it?
