I have a 89 CRX HF. When cold; car starts right up, idle is good, driving is smooth, no miss. Then once engine is warm it has a hard miss with a jerk, sometime a few jerks, when you slow down idle goes to near 0 RPM, sometimes dies but starts right up. Once this happens and you try to accelerate the car stumbles. I've changed fuel filter and distributor cap. Any ideas on what may be causing this? Thanks in advance for your time.

I had both problems with my 90 HB, and I think you have two problems. Mine would run fine when cold, then after warming up would start to miss, especially under load. After throwing some usual suspect ignition parts at the miss problem, and cleaning the spark plugs, the miss continued. Turned out to be the spark plugs, that looked good and were fairly new. I replaced the E-3 plugs with NGK and the miss was gone. However the dying issue in my car still happens occasionally with an instant restart...good luck
