95 civic LX 1.5 cap and rotar replacement

Hi all I did see some videos on the cap and rotar replacement but the parts store was asking if the dizzy is a TEC? Are their 2 types of caps for this engine? and what is the easy way to crank the engine to get at the bolt that holds the rotor on? Thank You

You should have asked the parts pushers what other choices they show.

The factory parts catalog only shows one distributor choice for 95, TEC.

Wrench on an accessory pulley, or socket on the crank bolt.

If it's a manual trans, I'd leave it in high gear and push on the front bumper with my knees until the engine rolls around to the right spot..

Or pull the distributor out and do it on a workbench.
