95 Civic lx NO SPARK??
95 Civic lx NO SPARK??
Hey guys. I hope somebody can help me out here. I have a problem civic haha. It's a 95 lx manual trans (not that that really matters I'm sure). I believe its the 1.5 motor. I have very little experience with this car. I got it figuring it was going to be just a cosmetic job but of course not.
This car has absolutely no spark. It's at a legit mechanics shop and he can't even figure it out. Whole distributor was replaced... nothing. Then main relay was replaced... got the fuel pump to turn on... still no spark. I'm sure he's looked at the basics like spark plug wires and fuses and whatnot but all the same. Anybody have any experience with this. The car was stolen a few years ago and just recently was found at an impound lot and it definitely had parts stolen off it (i.e. side mirrors, cluster, back deck, fuze box cover) so I have no clue if a part that creates spark is the one to blame here. It's been at this shop for 3 months now and the guy has been tinkering with it the whole time but nothing. There was an alarm put in years ago but honestly don't even know if its still working or not. This car is absolutely frustrating. Any help would be appreciated greatly!
