87 crx si in need of help

hello all

new member here and i am hoping someone here can give me some advice. i recently purchased a 87 crx si, for a very low price, it was not running due to the previous owner thinking the fuel pump was bad. it was already pulled from the car along with the tank (which does not need to be pulled in the model) i got a new fuel pump and replaced the gas tank but am not getting power to the fuel pump. the fuel pump is good i tested it with a hot wire. traced the bad fuel pump hot wire to the relay and replaced that also with a new one, the ignition is good but i am not getting power to the the dash except the battery light the car will crank but not run. i have double checked the grounds thermostat and body ground. only thing i have not replaced is the ecu because they are not able to be found in my area its a PE7. does anyone here have any ideas or thought as to what my problem could be?

oh i have tested and replaced all the fuses in the fuse box as well.

any thought or help here would be greatly appreciated.

Perhaps voltage isn't making it from the ignition switch to the main relay? The car would still crank because the starter motor doesn't go through the main relay, only the fuel pump and the ECU. I don't know the specific wiring for that model so I'm kind of guessing, but it seems to me you could unplug the main relay and look for one of the contacts in the relay socket to get voltage when you turn the key to ON, and for a separate contact to get volatage when you crank the engine. If those contacts are getting voltage then your idea of a bad ECU seems possible to me. Have you tried typing your ECU part # into ebay?
