1995 civic ex vtec. overheating please help

the car does multiple things i hate.

it overheats. and when this happens the car then steams a **** load out of the radiator area.

the heat has stopped working

also the car idles really high. like 1500 rpms.

and then once it warms up it revs up and then dies and then revs back up. repeats.

i am thinking about replacing the etc thermomater, the head gasket the idler and the timing belt.

tell me what you guys think.

i need help with all of the things above.

can you please help me. detailed instructions. a step by step if you will

Ok first off take out the spark plugs see if theres any fluid on top of the pistons. if so you need a head gasket.

#2 for the high idle check your Idle Air Control Valve.
#3 Check see if your losing Fluids any were. Make sure you have fliuds in your radiator.

You can send me a Private pm i can help you step to step on solveing these issues.
