Wire Set removed, now a couple of them won't fit back on spark plugs

I was trying to get the wire set out of the way when I was trying to get to the heater hose underneath the distributor. Unfortunately, instead of just unplugging them from the distributor I went ahead and took them off their respective spark plug. I've taken them off before and they've always fit back in easily. But now, TWO won't go in! I keep on pushing, and pushing, and they still won't go in. I;ve made sure to not really push it, but I'm at a loss on what to do. Help!!

This may be what I am going with here, but at some point, I don't know how. The metal piece that is inside the wires probably got bent and wont fit back onto the plugs. It's happened to me before and what your going to have to do is buy a new wire set. Really not that bad if you don't care about what kind you get.
