Locate ECT sensor 1992 VX

Locate ECT sensor 1992 VX. Have been informed to try replacing this because my VX doesn't want to start without a small squirt of gas in intake if it sits for awhile (evidently cooling off). Is there any procedure or setup after replacing this sensor. I also have reduced mileage which could be contributed to this sensor. It affects the setting of injectors stroke I guess.

I would start by testing the sensor first before you start replacing stuff. Check the condition of the wiring. You should be getting about 5 volts from the PCM to the power and ground wires. As for the location, you may have to search here or on Google to get a wiring diagram to help you out.

It's in the thermostat housing kinda below the distributor. It has 2 wires.
