The front windows of my civics tint is scratched up and the tint is peeled in places so i want to replace the tint, but i dont know what percent it is. How do i find out??

Just go to a tinting shop and they'll tell you. Its pretty easy for them to tell. The lower the tint percentage, the darker it will be.

Just search around on google. I was curious about this same topic recently. I just typed 'window tint percentage chart' into google, and compared it to my car. Not the most accurate way of going about finding what percentage your windows are tinted to, but it works.

anything less than 28% is technically illegal. (at least in florida) so you have to also be concerned about potential tickets. cops dont usually stop you (in my experience) just for dark tint, but theyll tack on a price for illegal tint if they pull you over for something else. just dont drive suspiciously i guess, if you get illegal tint
