fuel injectors
fuel injectors
I have a 1993 honda civic dx and have a question about the fuel injectors. The car runs really rough and does not seem to have much power (had to drive in third gear all the way to work)(it is an automatic fyi). I unplugged the injectors one at a time and found one that is bad, when i pulled it off it made no change to how the car ran. So i guess my question is will that one injector not working cause my car to run this way or is there maybe some deeper issue. I recently changed the head gasket and i set the timing so i don't think that is the problem unless i am missing something....any help please.

Re: fuel injectors
Your test tells you that there is one dead cylinder. It does not tell you that the injector is the problem. The problem could also be the lack of spark or low compression. First test for spark, then test for injector pulses using a node tester, and then cylinder compression.
Yes, one bad cylinder can cuase an engine to run poorly.
