Whats the typical mileage life on a 1989 civic hatchbacks engine? And is it common for them to need valve cover gaskets repalced at around 114k miles? Just bought another civic for about 600 and needs valve cover gaskets replaced and a new gas tank but besides that its pretty nice. Thanks

i got a civic with 150k miles, i think i'm going to need to get some gaskets soon too.

I dont think its that hard to replace. I watched my mechanic replace mine when I did my timing belt and valve adjustment.
