australian spec 4th gen motor?
australian spec 4th gen motor?
heya,
im having a tad bit of trouble finding a civic forum downunder so i figured itd be alrite if i asked here. i recently purchased a 1989 civic, which im pretty sure is a 4th gen. the motor is a d15b412 which makes me wonder as to the specific specs. www.redbook.com.au generally provide all the specs we need for most cars, but they didnt have the right specs for my car. on redbook, it shows that the d15b412 series motor has 3 valves per cylinder and uses a single carby to produce 63kw/80-ish horsepower. but my motor has 4 valves per cylinder and a dual carby system. so i was wondering if anyone knew how much power and torque my motor is good for? anything is good right now.
thanks
Wil
