??smoke Out Of Engine When Oil Stick Is Pulled??
I'm new to Honda's so maybe this isn't even a problem at all.....but i bought a 1995 Civic LX...has 137k miles on it....I'm very happy with it, GREAT milage (34-37mpg) and a good bit of power considering the small engine size....also has a lot to do with the 5pd manual trans....but i checked the oil before i bought it and it was at a good level (dipstick has 2 small holes on it and i assume that a good oil level would be between the 2 small holes...not used to imports)....then i go to check my oil yesterday after i get home from a usual drive, i pulled the dipstick and a small cigarette puff sized smoke cloud comes out of the engine block where the dipstick goes....i check the oil and it seems to be at a good level.....is engine maybe running hot?...i wasn't driving crazy....maybe i misunderstand the dipstick levels and need more oil.....? I did add some fuel injector cleaner to the tank when i got it but don't think thats the prob and thats all i've done to the car.....would HATE to lose my baby after only 2 weeks of driving fun and feel that this might be a piston ring problem.....any help would be much appreciated....
