Tayler,

I love the color, but I hate the hood scoops. They just look bad.

How much money have you spent modding your car to-date?

How do you like those 17" konigs? Did you have any trouble with them and the wheel well? I always heard the older civics had a really tight fit and it was hard to get any bigger tires in there.

Yeah i know about the carbon fiber hood, i plan on getting a sebon or vis one this summer hopefully. The rims, yes they are a kinda a tight fit but i really dont have any problem with them. This summer i hopefully want to paint my car black, i think that car would look really clean with those rims. I cant get any of the pictures with the tint on the car and that makes it look alot better.

Yeah that car would like really good in black. And if you replace the hood it would be golden.

You like those rims? How much did you pay for them? How about getting some spinners instead?

Spinners are gay, especially on a street car, now if i was a black gangsta with a escalade then it might be okay.........nevermind it would still be gay hahaha.

I think they would look good with your little baby scoops on the hood. And you could put pinwheels on the roof and curb feelers on the side, and you would be all set.

Are those pictures current? did you get rid of the ram air or did you get a cold air ? Aren't you just sucking in hot air with the ram air and no hood scoop?

You don't need to, I already know the answer. You have a ram air intake with no hood scoop so you are sucking hot air right back in to the engine. End of story. For being Mr. all-motor you think you would know that.By the way ,what kind of bootleg intake is that anyway?

Surely its not going to last long since you're sucking in hot air, are you going to change that setup or leave it as it is?

No, actually i have a "Real intake" now. Those are old pics..Just because it is a short ram does not mean it is sucking in warm air......

With short ram you gain hp ok, but you lose very little low end torque, that is the only downfall of a short ram. You need to learn more about cars before you start saying stuff tuner-X, no offense but its getting old correcting you.

Just get a real intake and stop pretending that you know everything, If I really was wrong you would have said why I was wrong, you have tried every other time.

I thought i did, just because its a short ram does not mean its sucking in warm air, because moving air is colder and im in north dakota so its almost always cold lol. Im not saying a short ram is better than a "Real Intake" but the short ram is still proven to increase hp, and thats all that matters to me.

But a cold air intake is still better because it is in a more direct flow of air no?however minimal the horsepower gain is between a ram air ,like you said it's all about making HP.

How much extra HP can actually be made from a cold air intake compared to the short ram?

It all totally depends on the car. Every car will respond differently, but im guessing 2-3 hp and a couple of ft/lb's of torque.

Tayler, cool car bro, hey u gor a give props to the kid, why does it metter so much if its a short or a cold intake. the car has a freakin swap. Down here in Florida people mesh up their engines all the time because cold air intakes suck up water. Even tho its a short ram u can always move a headlight when racing lol
