96 civic, how to change automatic shift knob?

96 civic, how to change automatic shift ****?

I wanted to change the automatic shift **** on it for my boyfriend but i don't know if a universal one will work since is has a button on it. Can anyone help me?

Yes, you can change it, remove the one philips screw and pull straight up. The aftermarket shift **** will need to be able to push down on the piece of angled metal that sticks out.
