Best lifespan increasing mods.
Best lifespan increasing mods.
I've got a D16Y7 with 100k miles on it. Runs great but it's bone stock. Are there any modifications that will make the engine more bulletproof?
I have cars that I've EGR deleted (diesel), smog, etc. to increase lifespan.
I don't know much about Hondas but I want to make this thing last me a lifetime. Any help?
edit: just an FYI I'm not looking to build this thing for racing or anything. I'm just trying to have the most reliable daily. There are no leaks, everything in terms of maintenance is up to date and the timing belt was changed 100 miles ago.

+1. Very important to change all the fluids by the book or even more often on some in order to get maximum life. And don't lead foot it any more than you have to. Hot rodding jack rabbit starts, hard braking, etc, wears out components.
Stock is great. those Japanese engineers knew what they were doing.
