New to civics lookin for power.

i do all the work on my fBest friends 2000 civic 5speed.

hes looking for 900hp. Hah. i told him lets get 350hp and see if he can handle it or afford it first. haha

Im a big diesel nut and own a Turbo diesel 1 ton truck. not into riceers i just mod, install, fabracate, fix, diagnose all the stuff on his car.

i installed everything aftermarket on this.

from the 600led show light system, too the 2000wt sub system, and racing suspension and body kit.

so what do i need to do or find for say 350hp?

Re: New to civics lookin for power.

you've done all this and you don't know how you're going to take a car with under 100 whp to 350?

turbocharge, supercharge or twincharge it.

you're gina have to be running som serious boost levels. i'd suggest looking in the 6th gen section for turbo options.

you're going to need a lot of money to hit 350hp. on a car that old he migh want to sell the car and buy a car that comes stock at 300plus hp.

you'd probabley save money buying a 90's turbo car and using the sale value of the civc he has now to tune it up.

Re: New to civics lookin for power.

^^ agreed. lots and lots of cash will be needed. i think i see a d16 in there so thats gotta go first. maybe a b16 or b18 swap. stage 2 or 3 cams. turbo. a REALLY good tune to hit 350 i would think. lets just say when i do my b16 swap and boost build...my goal is only 250-300 hp tops. if he wants a 900 hp car he better be makin like 100,000 a year minimum lol

besides you already got that massive tach on the dash and the giant wing...what more power do you need??
