98 civic 1.6l sohc swap with b18b1
Re: 98 civic 1.6l sohc swap with b18b1
If your car is already manual I am assuming to swap a b series in your car you will need motor mounts, ecu, wire harness, shifter linkage and maybe shifter assembly and well motor and tranni of course.
Re: 98 civic 1.6l sohc swap with b18b1
I'm doin the same exact swap. My civic is a 96 ex. I have the integra...all I need to do is gather my parts. The integra is an auto so I think I'll need a flywheel, transmission, cv shafts, shift linkage, ecu, and wire harnesses. From what I heard I can use the integra mounts and it should bolt right in. I'm not 100% sure how to do the wire harnesses so any pics or info on exactly where to look and how to do the electrical work would be greatly appreciated. It's a B18B1 so there's no vtec.....that should make the wiring a lot easier.
