Rear coilovers fork bolt size

Hey I was trying to put some new coilovers I just got for my Civic Cx 2000 and I was trying to take off the bottom bolt of the fork I believe it’s called that and it snapped of how old and rust it is. I was just wondering what what the exact size of that bolt for me to find it at autozone or somewhere.

Thanks in advance.

Take the old bolt to Ace hardware. They will match up the length, diameter, and grade (hardness) for you.

Re: Rear coilovers fork bolt size

Would they be able to just do it with just the head of bolt ?

This is what managed to come of when I tried to loosen the bolt to install the coilovers.

You never specified in your initial post that just the head of the bolt snapped off.

Is the remaining piece of the bolt removable by knocking it out with a punch tool. If not you will need to use a reverse drill bit. Take pics of the remaining bolt and for future reference please provide as much pertinent information as possible when starting a thread. The less guess work the better we can help.

Also, if need be remove same bolt from the other side of the car and bring it to Ace hardware for sizing. Use PB Blaster to soak the bolt before removing.
BTW is that bolt for the front or rear suspension?

Another option is to a local junkyard and pull one. Can go on an official Honda parts website (such as HondaPartsNow and find diagrams that list that bolt's part number and order it. Could call you local Honda dealer parts department and see if they can order one for you.
