Coilover question

Will a set of coilovers for a 96 accord work and fit on my 96 civic? I know that accords are heavier so don't think that part would be an issue.

Re: Coilover question

Well since you didn't give a trim level I'll just assume EX 5 speed. Looks like they had slightly different front shocks. Accord here: http://estore.honda.com/honda/parts/...n=&b=B++28&dl=
Civic here: http://estore.honda.com/honda/parts/...n=&b=B++28&dl=

Play around with the e-store a bit or you might be able to contact a dealer if you can't find the answer you're looking for.

Alright so what I just did was google searched the brand that was on the box he had them in and went to the website and typed in the sku # that was also on the box they came up as civic coilovers WIN WIN! I have no idea why he put them as 96 accord coilovers on his craigslist ad so problem is now solved and gonna steal me some coilovers for the price he wants. Thanks for the help btw, this is what they are http://www.optiongroupinc.com/autopa...er-silver.html

Now I don't know if they are the best or how low they can lower my car if you have any idea about that stuff and if they'll last a while or not let me know thanks.

Wow, their website sucks! How much does he want? Good coilovers usually aren't cheap.

Re: Coilover question

I wouldn't even bother. They look like cheap eBay brand sleeves. It's just the sleeves and springs, you would still need to buy new shocks.

I would save a little more and get Ground Control Sleeves. You can order custom spring rates and they have a lifetime warranty.
