I have a '97 Civic HX with Integra GSR seats installed. Unfortunately, the drivers side seat has a broken frame. I used some heavy-duty screws to temporarily hold it together, but it's beginning to come loose again. To fix it would require stripping all the upholstery and padding off and welding it together. While I could do this, the seats aren't holding me in as tight as I had hoped they would (though they are significantly better than the OEM seats). I've searched around for some threads about installing racing seats, but I can't seem to find any threads that recommend certain seats.

I like to drive my car enthusiastically, but I don't actually race it on a track or anything like that. I am looking for some seats that would recline, slide back and forth, and be appropriate for everyday use (short commute to work, but also 300+ mi trips once a year or so). What are some seats that would be comfortable and affordable? By affordable, I'd say in the $200-300 range new.

Get a set of DC5 or EP3 seats, that budgets a bit to low for a good quality racing seats that will be adjustable.
