Adding Cig Adaptor kit with fuse straight to battery for use when key is off. Also to keep battery up using small solar panel when not driving.
There is a rubber grommet on the firewall to the right of battery. Do I have to knock something else through AFTER taking out the rubber grommet? Reason is I try to put wires through and something blocking. Thanks for suggestions. And the kit does not have very long leads. So I will put it in or near glove box!
I removed it to shine light so i could see where it shines through on the inside. Can you tell me what I have to remove on the inside in order to see the hanger once I push it through. Thanks ---------------------- Update...There is a little piece of liner you need to push through. I removed the rubber grommet and cut a slit in it then fed the wires through. Fits nicely just above the existing one, used the same screws that hold that panel up. Changed out one screw. And can still unplug so the led light doesn't stay on. But I have small solar panel in windshield.
