Hear something clicking inside car
Hear something clicking inside car
So car is running better now after a pile of issues after replacing timing
belt.
Now hear a click inside car. It almost sounds like the sound from the turn signals and hazard lights flashing but not quite the same.
Anybody got any ideas what it may be?

is it constantly clicking? buzzing? once in a while, only when you do certain things? turn on ignition, wipers, etc? is the blower on defrost? (ac)

Clicks about every half minute. No buzzing sound. A/C or heat not on.
Sounds like it might be a relay. Hear it when the car is running. Will have to check to see if it is clicking when the key is turn to ON position too.

Follow your ears.
Re: Hear something clicking inside car
Recently noticed that I do not always hear the click.
Believe it is related to the wipers. After turning on or just squirting windshield washer still hear the click after getting wipers to stop.
More of the story.
The wiper switch lever moves to much. Believe it should be more rigid.
Turn the **** to turn wipers on slow speed they may run fast. Then have to wiggle the lever around to get slow speed then it goes back to fast speed. Also have to wiggle the lever a few times to get the wipers to stop.
Fiancée said it use to be worse till she took it to a local independent garage place.
What ever they did made it better according to her. Tonight noticed the CIVIC was marked on the underside of the lever. Guessing this lever is from a junk yard.
Can the lever/switch be accessed without taking the steering wheel off? Guessing a 90 degree screw driver could get to the switch screws???

Re: Hear something clicking inside car
Spent way to much time on this switch last weekend.
Took it apart to clean contacts. Put it back together. Same problem still exists. Now washer does not work. Maybe did not put it back together correctly.
Believe I just need a new switch.
