Stock Rear Audio Crossover?
Stock Rear Audio Crossover?
Hey so I have a 2000 Civic LX that I think has aftermarket speakers in it (Pioneer) but what appears to be a stock audio crossover. What makes me think it is stock? The stock plugs for the speakers plug directly into it and the rest of the car audio wiring looks like it was installed by a kid (only used electrical wire and finger twisting!).
The rear speakers are not working and I'm trying to figure out what is going on. Any idea what I might be looking at? It is screwed to the rear metal shelf between the speakers and has all the same Honda style wiring and tube enclosures that the rest of the vehicle wiring has on it.
Will post a picture in a few minutes.

Re: Stock Rear Audio Crossover?
That's no crossover.
THAT is what Honda calls the "window antenna coil", which IIRC works like a noise filter between the antenna grid and the defogger grid.
