99 civic no spark after coil help.
I read the forum for testing a no spark issue. The coil fire's and the rotor is turning. If I hook up a spark tester at the wires , there's no spark.
the Forum said to replace the cap and rotor so I did that but I still have no spark after the coil. I hooked the tester strait to the cap and get nothing. I hooked up a test light to the cap terminal and get nothing when turning over the eng. But if I hook up the spark tester to the coil if fires on and off as the engine is turned over. I didn't get it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

What kind of spark tester?
How long a spark can you get the coil to make? If it can make a spark a half inch long or more, that's good.
If it can only muster 1/8 inch long spark max, that's junk.
