2005 EX cd changer gone bad

I have the EX SE. It has the alarm and a 6 disc indash cd changer/radio. The cd player has gone out. If I buy an after market cd player will this affect the alarm system?

Won't change the keyless or alarm at all.

If you install an aftermarket radio, DO NOT CONNECT ANY WIRES LABELED FOR ILLUMINATION !!!1!
You can burn out the gauge cluster if you connect the illumination wiring on most aftermarket radios. That isn't cheap.

If you have someone else install the radio, keep this in mind when you discover your dash lights don't work anymore.
