Hey guys i am about to purchase a 96 civic coupe and had a quick question. I have a Pioneer AVH-3200DVD brand new in box and i have read some things that say Double din won't fit in these cars but others say it does. So my question is just which is true? If it will fit do i just trim the single din dash kit? thanks guys!

It does not fit where the stock deck is but down lower you can cut and shape the cup holder area that houses teh stock cd player to fit a dbl din it takes some work and a lot of cutting fitting and refitting to make it fit right. Easiest way to tell is to take the cage for the dbl din and set it in place where you want it and see if there is room to get it in place.
