Cool I guess, why would you ever want that much bass? It's too much and not really good for anything, especially your ears lol.

Re: Video: new system flexing the si

well i got the original sub for free then misaligned the cone so i took the basket and cone/coil off of it bought a new basket and a recone for 160 bucks and built it up

so in all it cost 160 bucks

my next one will be close to free if i can just trade the tc9 for a a motor and basket and recone

ditto. video was decent, but there's no point in that much bass unless you're competing. def not good for your ears.

Re: Video: new system flexing the si

you should give them about 2.5 - 3cubes ported and it would be alot louder.

heres a good site to build a simple l-slot box(hope it helps):

Re: Video: new system flexing the si

ah.lol well my box is ported and you know they were louder in a sealed box. but i'll give that a shot. imma try and do that sub box II that was posted on here a while back. and then i'll make it a bigger box and idk if i'll seal it or port it.

Re: Video: new system flexing the si

well i just input your dimensions in that calc and it comes to about 1 cubes, it was louder sealed because your box now is "choking" them

audio is mostly 80% install 20% equipment

Re: Video: new system flexing the si

Re: Video: new system flexing the si

tuning is done by varrying the length of the port relative to the size of the box.

if you play with that calculator i posted a couple post up youll see you can change the length of the port to change the frequency.

most prefab boxs are tuned fairly high about the 40's, but most people perfer listening to about 32-35 hz for daily systems.

Re: Video: new system flexing the si

i meant 32 hz because it does good on the lows and the highs if it were ported to high you would hear the highs and too low vise versa, not cause its not loud, haha very nice choice on the btl's.

i think if i bought a sub that i didnt build it would prolli be and audiopulse woofer or the new tc sounds line
