So, my civic got stolen, striped the stereo and wheels. Know someone that has some 18's, but not sure how they would work/look. Any thoughts?

I'm not a fan of anything over 16'' wheels on the earlier gens, it will also have a fairly significant impact on handling, acceleration and stopping distances. If you've been around this scene for awhile I'm sure you're familiar with everyone's obsession with rotational mass, and true performance wheels being forged to minimize the amount of material and therefore weight while maintaining strength. The impact of the physical weight of the wheel on those characteristics is important, but increasing or decreasing the diameter of the wheel will have a much larger impact. In short, 18'' wheels will really hurt performance.

I'm getting rid of the 17s on my car. Going back to a 14x5.5 with 185/65R 14 on the wheels. Really looking forward to the nicer drive.
