greetings

can anyone help me here regarding my Honda civic lxi 1996 .
I don't get enough air from my AC vents .I checked for blower it's working fine .and I was looking for air filter (cabin filter) but I don't find one in my car . Is there any idea how to clean it and unblock the air ?

In the US the Civic did not have cabin filter until 2001.
I don't think there was even a slot for a filter to be installed in our cars here.

Check blower motor for debris in the fan blade

Check blower motor for spinning in the correct direction (it's easy to wire up a replacement motor incorrectly)

If you have AC, check if evaporator core has collected enough dirt/hair/garbage to restrict air flow

Check for air leakage everywhere from the fan motor housing to evaporator housing to the heater housing

Sorry no. You can search for that yourself.

It would probably require extracting the R134a refrigerant, then removal of the evaporator housing from the car, and disassembly of the housing in order to clean the evaporator core.

Might be similar to cleaning sand/insects from a cars radiator, but remove it from the cabin area first so you can work with it.

If you do open up the AC pipes, Precautions would need to be taken to prevent dirt and moisture from entering the AC system.

Hi, are you shure your evaporator is getting cold, Its behind the glove box.
When you turn on just the blower, do you have the air pushed in strong enough?
on top of the blower there is the cabin Air Shuttle, check it. There is no filter Just a Shuttle made of foam, you could replace that making a custom one.
