Exclamation 92 Civic Ex steaming aluminum radiator

So i have recently bought a new aluminum radiator to replace my old stock one that went out. The only problem is that steam keeps coming out of the radiator cap every time the car runs for a bit. At first i thought it could be the cap, so i went and bought a new one. But the problem continued to happen. I went into the car to check the temp gauge, and it just reads that the motor is cool, and not hot at all. Its strange, i'm not sure if this is a problem or not, any help is appreciated!

Aftermarket radiator? Does it use an OEM (Honda genuine) cap or some other brand?

If not cap related..try pressure testing the coolant system and inspect for leaks near radiaotor neck.

Yes its an aftermarket aluminum radiator, thank you i will look into the tests. Also, it does have a different cap for it. Its basically a B18 radiator from an acura integra.

Closely inspect the mating surfaces, if they're warped it may be preventing a seal.
