Cool Overheating issue help please!

I have a 98 honda civic lx. I had a misfire and drove on it for a day. I fixed my misfire but now my car overheats. When i turn my heat on it doesnt overheat. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance

ANY coolant loss from the radiator is critical.
It's designed to stay completely full under all conditions.....and the system is extremely small, cooling efficiency is compromised greatly by any loss of liquid.

And if it is low, figure out where it went. (Leaks? Blown head gasket?)

Fill it, and burp the cooling system ASAP.




Does the radiator fan run at the correct time?

My car just overheated and i left it running while it was hot an my fan isnt kicking on. So could my coolant be evaporating cause my car is getting so hot?
