no oil in filter

hey guys, i was changing out the pcv valve on my 97 civic ex and i pulled the filter off and i noticed that now oil came out of the filter when i pulled it off the motor and i sticked my figure down the hole and still nothing. so i was wondering if my oil pump is bad or not.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one

Re: no oil in filter

It's normal for the filter to drain its oil after the engine has not run for several minutes.
