losing spark

1996 civic losing spark. I have replaced icm, coil, main relay, plugs and wires. the coil will fire 10-20 times then stops. I also replaced the whole distributor. cel doesn't come on and I get no codes. where am I losing spark?

cel doesn't come on and I get no codes
Is the computer alive? Is the CEL bulb just burned out, why doesn't it come on?
(main relay issue, ground issues, ecm issues, etc)

Can you create a few codes (unplug a couple easy sensors) just to verify they do set a code in the computer and can be read by a reader?
