Re: Coolant leak
Does it overheat within the first 10 minutes after a cold start?
Has the dash temp gauge read hot at any point?
Maybe the thermostat is fully or partially stuck in closed position.
Have you watched the engine/coolant from cold start to operating remp and loner while engine is idling to find out where coolant is escaping from?

Re: Coolant leak
Just drove about 25 miles. Radiator is dry, not leaking or messy since earlier. I must have spilled some antifreeze while I was filling the radiator for the first time. I'll keep an eye on it for now...

Re: Coolant leak
it has never overheated to my knowledge. I've kept a good eye on the gauge. I have watched it from a warm start to operating temp and with a friend revving the engine to 2.5-3k and that's when I noticed the coolant coming out the top. I'll get pictures as soon as I can. No time to do it tonight or the next few days. I'll be out of town with work. Yay...
Might be a good idea to pressure test the coolant system.
What mileage is it at now and at what mileage did it have the last water-pump replacement? A waterpump can partially/intermmittently fail and push coolant through the system but at a lower rate than normal which causes increased pressure. Coolant should be flowing like shown in video link below and increases with rpms/revving. If you take the radiator cap off when hot open it half way and allow pressure to fully escape before opening. Use a rag on the cap and stand back and don't put face over cap when opening.

Re: Coolant leak
Coolant can take a while to burn off..it's fairly viscous. Hopefully you got it sorted. Disregard my post below or use it for a future reference.
Re: Coolant leak
I only bought the car 6 months ago at 197k and it's at 203k now. I purchased it from a tiny dealer so I don't have records. Thanks for your help everyone. I've learned a lot here!
