97 HX Coupe Cold Air into Cabin

I have a stock HX Coupe. Noticed alot of cold air in the cabin the last couple of days. Traced it down to be coming in from behind the glove box and regardless of vent position ( upper, floor, defrost, etc. )
Tried using a flashlight tonight, in and against the firewall and also shining in and around the vent area under the wiper cowl screen area, but can't see any light.
Any ideas as to what it may be? Common occurrence or known problem?
Do these 6th Gen. have a continuous fresh air intake perhaps, and I've just noticed it with 5 degree temps the last couple morning?

The heater/ac blower motor is in that vicinity..possible crack in duct work of that area?

Can check when I get home. The air is coming in regardless of fan being off or on, and temp dial doesn't make difference.
Can have it all way to hot and the incoming air is still cool / cold. Plus is speed sensitive ( faster = more air coming in )
And I know hard to tell, but seems higher up under the dash... like when you open the glove box, there is a small gap between glove box and bottom of dash area. Seems to be there.

Set HVAC controls to recirculate, see if that stops the draft. If so, the draft is normal and expected simply because the fresh air intake was open and road speed plus body vents in the rear pulls fresh air through the front.

You'll fog up the windows if you leave it set on recirculate though. Fresh air keeps windows clear better.

If the draft still comes through even with controls set to recirculate.....maybe the (foam?) seal has deteriorated where the top of the blower housing meets the cowl panel.

Got any holes in the firewall, maybe a rubber grommet dislodged where wiring has been pushed through?

My own peeve is cold air drafts through the door panels and window switches.

Thanks E. Already tried fresh & recirc and no change. No holes or anything loose I can see on or near the F/W.

Will see about the foam condition Saturday when I have daylight time.

Quick goggle search gave this small pic for a 6th gen blower housing, to give you an idea of what's there
