Injector seals. Quick question.
Hello, first of all I just joined this website. So it's a pleasure to meet you
My question is... all 4 of my upper injector seals are bad. I can smell has and hear air coming out of them. I ordered 4 of the upper seals today, and advice on how to install them without cracking them?

Re: Injector seals. Quick question.
Spray some carb and throttle cleaner all over the injector lower sections so the bottom seals get wet,
slowly pry and wiggle the fuel rail upward, it may take some work to get it out. Keep those seals wet so they can slide out of the manifold. The cleaner dries fairly quick so you may need to spray repeatedly
Install...lubricate the rubber seals with gas so they can slide into the rail easier
wiggle and rotate the injector as you insert it so you don't cut the edges of the rubber seals.
Reinstall...Lube bottom seals again with the carb cleaner so they can slide into the manifold easier.
