Driver's Side Window Missing Rubber Track
1998 Civic EX stock purchased six months ago.
Replaced regulator a couple months ago and noticed front (facing) lower window track/guide is devoid of rubber. WIndow/motor working fine so far but, fear that it might bind. Does that track have to be pulled out to replace rubber or is there an easier solution?
I thought about buying felt and gluing it in without removing the track.

Run channel seal (vertical), or the horizontal strips at the top of the door panel?

Should I go junkyard use or new? And if new does it have to be OEM or other?

If it's torn off and missing, I'm sure anything would be better than nothing..
The correct weatherstrip would tuck into the metal channels and stay.
I'd hose the entire weatherstrip liberally in spray silicone lubricant to ease installation.
If you get junkyard be sure to wash the felt surfaces with hot soapy water...dirt embedded in the seals makes the glass drag.
