D16y8 problem, need help asap

Ok I have a 98 civic ex with the d16y8 that I bought late last year. It has over heated since I got it so I replaced the water pump and timing belt. I drove it about a week and It still over heated so I parked it. So I just tore back into it and replaced the head gasket, plugs and wires, intake gasket, and exhaust gasket and just got the motor back together....no I'm trying to start it and I'm having problems, it'll turn over but no hit and there is a very loud squeak comming from the motor. The only time it'll hit is when you hit it with starting flud and it only hits for a second...... Any ideas? I have to get this thingon the road this week

Was the head inspected for flatness?

In order to run, an engine must have
Compression
Spark
Fuel
In the correct amounts, at the correct times. What's wrong here?
and there is a very loud squeak comming from the motor.
That doesn't sound right.
You should look into that.
