1999 honda civic si d16y8 rpm lag my car just started laging in first gear in the lower rpms you give it more gas and it surges it will lag and then suddenly the rpm jumps and then its fine once she warms up any ideas would be extremly nice.

Sounds like the throttle position sensor is dying, but its always a good idea to test first before replacing.
