First let me say thanks for the great fourm.Now i need help i am looking to buy a 2000 Civic ex. It has 191,00 miles The engine was replaced approx 50,000 miles ago. Now the transmission takes along time to shift from 1st to 2nd and 2nd to 3rd. This happens only when you drive it a slow speeds like around town.when you drive it hard and speed up fast the trams shifts great.I was wondering if this could be a selonoid problem or maybe the trans needs to be flushed.The guy who ownes it says he took it to a trans shop and they recommended replacing it at a cost of about $1800.Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.
