I would like to remove the spoiler from my 2012 Civic SI trunk so I can do some bodywork on the trunk top..... hail dents.... Bolt removal was easy but how do I removed the remaining nylon pop-it rivets?
Or do I have to cut them off... hard to access for cutting also.

If you think a good mechanic is expensive, try hiring a bad one
Re: Spoiler removal
Here's what I got from the Honda site, (C&P):
Remove the bolts (A, B) securing the trunk lid spoiler (C).
Pull out the trunk lid spoiler (A) to release the clip pins (B) from the clip grommets (C) on the trunk lid.
NOTE: The clip grommets will stay on the trunk lid.
Remove the clip grommets (A) from the trunk lid.
Install the clip grommets into the clip pins on the trunk lid spoiler.
NOTE: If the clip pins and the clip grommets are damaged or stress-whitened, replace them as an assembly with new ones.
This shows a set of needlenose pliers stuck into a clip grommet with the "remove" instruction, but doesn't tell what to do with them.
Probably twist a 1/4 turn to get them out like many of Hondas other body trim clips.
If not, then get inside the lid to squeeze the tabs to release them.
