97 dx d19y7 Electrical Load Sensor replacement help...

I just bought a 97 civic dx 5 spd, d16y7, I used my obd scanner and it's throwing a "P1298" code- electrical load detector circuit high input. My shop repair manual says that the EDL cannot be replaced, the entire engine bay main fuse box must be replaced. Very hard part to find. My idles a little off but the car runs pretty good. Anyone have any advice or suggestions. Any help is greatfully appreciated.

Did you have any luck with the ELD code 1298? Got the same problem with a '98 Civic
