Can I get this at a junk yard and is it hard to replace?
I am not a car mechanic...just a mom trying to get this done to get my daughter's car inspected....of course we waited until the last minute.
Brand new one is $109 at AutoZone. That's a lot to me.
How hard is this to do?

pretty easy to replace usually just a few bolts in the trunk. any more info on what year and trim the car is, and which light needs replacing (trunk lid or body)? most can be had cheap on ebay, esp for used honda light.

Its a 2000 Honda Civic Sedan (no where does it list the model like EX or anything). It's a basic model, auto trans, manual windows.
Think I could get one at the junkyard? I'm trying to get some things taken care of so I can get it inspected.
thanks!

depends if junkyard has any civic for that year. i saw quite a few on ebay but try to stick with oem honda brand, not aftermarket (which can look the same but have poor quality and not fit right). there are 4 pieces so you have to figure out which piece you need.
