rear main seal.

Replacing rear main seal, water pump, and alternater. How long do you think this will take? Any suggestions to make this less of a pain?

Re: rear main seal.

Time? I'd plan on at least full day in the shop, and that's having a hoist and all of the tools needed.
You doing it in your driveway? HellifIknow. Two days? A week?

You will be pulling the transmission to replace a rear main crank seal. You sure just adding oil now and then is too much hassle?

You will be doing a timing belt job to replace the water pump.

You may want to consider yanking the engine to do all of this, instead of yanking the trans.
