help me!!!! erggg 98 ex
My 98 ex (d16y7) rev limiter is only going to 5500: why? And how do I fix. I don't get good power until I get to like 3000 rpms and its killing me after I get power just to shift

Take it down to Autozone and have the codes read. They'll do it for free. I bet you have an emissions code 'cause it sounds like a clogged exhaust. Or it could be low on oil. Or the VTEC may not be engaging. Start with checking the oil level.
