I just bought a 97 Civic LX, it has a B20B it. The speedometer is jumpy and over 2500 rpm it just goes up and up. Under 2500 rpm it seems to be accurate. What could be causing this?

Ok, so it jumps around pretty much all the time and the only time it seems to be accurate is when I am not giving it gas.

I read on another forum that it could be a grounding issue, because at night my lights will get dimmer and brighter randomly. What all do I need to replace to make sure everything is getting a good ground? What wires should I check to make sure they arent grounding out or anything? This is the first car ive had with an electric speedometer so I dont know what to look for.

Well I got it fixed. The wires for the speed sensor were just sitting in the hole so I taped them for now because the parts store was closed.
