I have a water leaking problem...
Alright so i just got a 1997 Honda civic coupe not even a month ago and the thing leaks. My trunk has water in it and my carpet on the floor of my car is wet. Please help if anyone knows where it could be coming from b/c i cant figure it out and its bumming me out
Re: I have a water leaking problem...
I fix water leaks for a boadyshop and also have a 97 civic dx coupe.
The first thing is always shitty weather seal and use a wether strip sealent to bond it, a good one it all the boady seams that split in around the rear window and around the top of the trunk (down the sides of the quarter) look for tiny tiny hiarline cracks. If your rear window leaks at the top it will run down the top of the quarter and be a bitch to find.
Simple take all int out of the trunk, dry eveything, and climb in with a flash light or through the rear seats and have a buddy lightly sprinkle the hose over the trunk and the doors and trace the streem it works every time.
