Also i have this connector (female connector, like the ones to plug in H3/H1 bulbs) called "rew" or "rev" on the amp, where am i suppose to wire that to? and what about for the red and white plugs? Yes it is definately possible to add that stuff to the stock cd player. I have know idea what the connector called "rew" or "rev" is for. Maybe speaker level inputs? Look in the manual and see. The red and white plugs are your RCA plugs. You can splice a Line-Out Converter into your rear speakers and then run RCAs. Unless you have speaker level inputs. What kind of amp and sub is it?

When wiring to a stock cd player, do u have to run the input all the way to the cd player or just slice into the rear speakers? Im getting an amp with no speaker level inputs. What do i need and would it easier to upgrade to a new Hu with line outs at a later time if i go ahead and run rca's from my amp in my trunk to my headunit and put the line out converter behind my console , so that all i have to do whe swithching HU's is take out my line out converter and plug in my RCA's. If i dont run RCA's and just tap into my rears then the only wire i have to run from the trunk is the power, right?

If you're going to upgrade to a HU at a later time I would definately run the RCAs from the HU now, it will just be one less thing to do when you do the HU install and it will make the HU install easier. If you do it with the rear speakers you'll only have to run power thats correct. Its really a matter of where you want to spend the time. Either run the RCAs now or do it later, it will be done one way or the other. Most shops would recommend running the RCAs from HU the first time to do it right. But if you're not going to upgrade then it doesn't matter which you do.

I'm not ever replacing my stock HU, and I have my LOCs wired to the rear speakers and the front speakers because I have a 4 channel amp and a 2 channel amp. I put my LOCs in one of the back panels. Kind of hard to explain... In my coupe if you fold down the passenger side rear seat you can see a little plastic cover panel that pops off right there. The LOCs are hidden behind that and the wires run to the trunk, if you look at it you could probably figure it out. I like them there though so if I ever need to replace my RCA cables its very easy. Its all up to you.
